We are on the third floor of the Durst home still looking for young Walter, the younger brother of Rosa and Thorn. Kyana suggested that Rinn message Halder and suggest that he try to touch the children to see if they are real. Since the woman vanished, maybe the children aren't real either. As Halder casually makes his way toward the boy, attempting to console him, the boy shrinks back but Halder is still able to touch him. Rinn keeps the message spell open and as Halder responds, he learns that the child does feel real. Rinn tells him about the vanishing lady so he understands what is happening and why we were concerned about the children even being real. Assuming everything there is okay, we press on.

Misty opens the door across from the main bedroom we entered last session and we find another bedroom. As Rinn makes his way across the room, he hears some scratching from under the bed. Misty makes her way into the room but doesn't appear to notice the sound that has Rinn's attention. Rinn says something to everyone about it and then crouches to peer under the bed. He sees something and it seems to be a dog. He attempts to get the dog to come out but as it starts out, it gets scared and returns under the bed. Rinn tosses some meat and bits of bread to the dog which devours it quickly, obviously being very hungry. Next, Rinn checks the balcony which is clear. Rinn moves to another door in the room and opens it, finding nothing but a jewelry box in the closet and a mirror on the door. He doesn't open the jewelry box, just leaves it. Taking the items of value is okay in most cases but he wouldn't want to rob these people he has come to help. He closes the closet door. never mentioning the jewelry box to the others.

They leave that room and move to a room across the hall which is a bathroom full of mold and mildew. It's a foul odor and assaults your senses.

Dain realizes they skipped a door up front and opens it to find a room full of moldy towels and sheets and such.

Misty went back to the front bedroom looking for secret doors or anything we may have missed. Rinn notices that these seems to be some space that we haven't been able t enter as the appears to be no way in. Misty and I search it from two different sides and determine nothing and decide to search to opposite sides and finally find the secret doors, one in the bedroom and another in the hall leading to the same space. Rinn leads the party up the stairs and finds a door. He opens the door and finds he is in the attic. It is dusty and dirty.

They move to a door where they heard children making noise. They opened the door to find a room, complete with two beds, chest of toys, a doll house, and, at the foot of the beds, skeletons of two children dressed much like Rosa and Thorn. Rinn messages Halder that he should be very careful and describes what we are seeing. checking with him and getting some information about what the children have on them, we realize the doll is the same as well, except this one is old and worn out but the one Thorn is holding is not.

Rinn opens the toy box to find toys and the investigates the doll house. The dolls house appears to be a model of the house we are in. Rinn keeps noticing the an area that that seems to go all the way through the house from the first floor to the attic. Kyana moves to the first floor to go out to check on Halder but the doors are shut and locked. She returns to the group to let them know about that. Rinn and Snoddly check on the room across the hall and find a room full of covered furniture and a chest partially open. After open the box the west of the way, it is determined that it is a skeleton. Rinn moves to check the wall where they believe a secret door rests and finds nothing. Misty is called to check as well and finds nothing. Even Snoddly can't find it. They checked the rest of the walls around that space, also reveal nothing. We also notice that the dog has joined us, following us around we assume for the food. He finally let us get closer and Rinn checked out his collar to find his name is Lancelot.

Kyana rejoins us and lets us know the doors are locked and we can't get out. The background music changes!

Dain takes a dagger and try to pry away material from the wall so we can look into that space but as he chips away at the wall, it self heals. He uses his war hammer and tries to break through but again the wall simply heals itself.

Examining the body in the trunk, Snoddly finds it to be the nursemaid that was seen rocking below helping the baby to fall asleep. This nurses outfit had blood stains all of the front of it. Rinn try to ritually cast identify against the wall to the secret space and find it to be some very strong transmutation magic. Becoming concerned now, the group start checking the rest of the walls and all of them seem to be affected by this self healing magic. Kyana begins to try and purge the house of whatever evil that might be. 48:21

We move to another room with an adjoining wall to the space we were trying to enter and find spiders and another bedroom
