 Snoggly taps the statue with his staff and finds it's made of wood. He taps arounds to see if there is a hollow point, it's very solid. Nothing happens so he checks the orb, it's smoky and shadowy. Snoggly uses a mage hand spell to move to pickup the orb and examine it. After looking a bit, he puts it down. As he does, a shadowy figure emerges from the statue. A battle ensues. The first shadow if beaten back and as it vanished, a second shadowy figure emerges from the dog statue and strike Snoggly that seems to get weaker. Kyana casts a spell that dispells magical darkness and seems to take out the remaining shadowy figures including another one behind the statues.
-The group determines they need a short rest and takes one. Much disturbing chanting going on. Snoggly collects the orb into a pouch. Rinn checks the door for traps and finding none, opens it. Snoggly begins to make out the chanting "He is ancient, he is the land!". They find another room, it holds a table and two high back chairs. Lancelot seems calm and hungry but otherwise not scared. Rinn moves into the room and suddenly, erupting from the ground are ghouls. Battle ensues. More ghouls approach from behind Misty.

 After much battling and table breaking, they eventually beat back and terminate their foes. When Misty's paralyzation wares off, she falls to the ground. Dain move to her and lays on hands, returning some of her lost health.
